This website has been designed to help our guests staying in the many hotels and resorts around the Townsville strand area to get the most of their stay by interacting with the local Townsville community groups and organisations that use Strand Park. Local interaction is a key element in visitor satisfaction.
OnTheStrand.com is a full news and events management service that is all software based allowing you or your group to login in and publish or edit your own events. The event manager can even set a limit on the available registrations, collect payments and automatically email the organiser with the new bookings.
Visitors to the area will be able to see what is happening in and around the Strand and can actively participate which can help make for a memorable visit. OnTheStrand.com.au was built locally and is free to use for individuals, community groups and organisations.
It is hoped this service will be able to attract some corporate sponsorship and Hotel and Restaurant sponsorship. All new free accounts have no ability to post articles or Events but can comment, interact and review.
